My parents were devoted to living an eco-friendly lifestyle along with all of my neighbors. I grew up with a compost pile and never even realized that there were other families who did not have compost piles of their own until I became older and began visiting friends outside of my neighborhood. Just like my parents, I have always spread the word about protecting the Earth to anyone who will listen. I learned early on that many people think it is more difficult than it is. I have since been devoted to teaching others just how small simple steps they take every day, such as opting to purchase toothpaste not sold in a box (all of that extra waste adds up!), can really have a dramatic effect on the environment.
